The Department of Shipping Trade and Transport has co-founded the MSc in “Νew technologies in Shipping and Transport”, in collaboration with the University of West Attica.
The MSc in “Νew technologies in Shipping and Transport” aims at creating competent shipping professionals who are knowledgable of both shipping management and technical matters. The program aspires to ingrain modern information technology knowledge and skills in shipping companies and maritime business management. We enable ship officers, shipping executives, computer engineers as well as marine engineers, to use new, complex tools for communications, automation and control systems, also enterprise information systems management, towards a more efficient shipping industry operation.
This postgraduate degree leads to an MSc degree in Νew technologies in Shipping and Transport with two tracks:
- Information systems & Management in Shipping and Transport
- Technologies and Automation in Shipping and Transport
