Aims
Studies
in Regional & Urban Planning
is an international multidisciplinary refereed journal published
by Constantine Porphyrogenetus International Association in
cooperation with GEOPOL. The purpose
of the journal is to present manuscripts that are linked to all aspects
of regional and urban economics and planning,
geo-economics and related issues. Areas of interest include
transportation studies, logistics, business, management and
organizational studies, applied economics, finance, planning and
forecasting, systems engineering, digital decision support
systems, new technologies and geopolitics. The journal welcomes
all points of view and perspectives and encourages original
research or applied study in any of the areas listed above. The
views expressed in this journal are the personal views of the
authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal.

Aims
Up
to 2006 Middle East FORUM had been the official journal of the
Institute
of
Middle
East Studies
“Al Mamun” (IMSAM). From 2007 onwards Middle East FORUM is the
official journal of the Eastern Mediterranean Institute for
Research, Innovation, Cooperation and Mediation (EMPIRICUM) which
is published in cooperation with GEOPOL.
Middle
East FORUM is a scientific journal publishing refereed articles in
a wide spectrum of disciplines ranging from regional planning and
economics of development to environmental management and conflict
resolution. Of particular interest to Middle East FORUM are:
- articles addressing the problems, concerns and
interests of both academics and practitioners in the
Middle
East
and
Eastern
Mediterranean
.
- articles of multi-disciplinary and
cross-functional character
- articles aiming at the stimulation of innovative
research in areas that can contribute to the socio-economic
development
of the region
