AIMS AND SCOPE

MSRD is a refereed international journal the purpose of which is to present manuscripts that are concerned with case studies, empirical  and descriptive policy making and prescriptive works that are linked to actual problems revenant to the Middle East and the Mediterranean countries. The journal encourages submission of both theoretical and applied work analyzing public and private sector applications relevant to the region. The journal will publish manuscripts by planners, social scientists, engineers, policy analysts, management scientists, environmental scientists, and other researchers with interest in the area. MSRD encourages submissions that are multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary.

Topics that would be of interest to our readers include, but are not restricted to, agricultural issues, the peace process and conflict resolution, demographic issues,  desertification and land and water resources, environmental concerns, urban and regional planning, issues of public housing and public facilities, health management, human resource management, transportation and tourism. Other broad areas of interest include: business and managerial economics, financial management, investments, banking, industrial policy, international studies, long range planning, forecasting & strategic planning, organization studies, systems engineering, technology transfer, R & D and regional science. The primary focus of the journal is on current research or applications concerning contemporary issues and problems in the Middle East and the Mediterranean . The journal welcomes all points of view and perspectives and encourages original research or applied study in any of the several areas listed above.
