Short Description

Course objectives:

– To present  the basic elements of Visual Basic as a tool for a simulated design of complex spatial problems and the solution of them in a graphical alphanumeric environment.

– In relation to the above simulated design environment to present the basic principles and methods for the analysis and decomposition of the spatial system into basic elements and functions which could be easily and efficiently recalled in a flexible environment  of partial  or holistic redesign of  the image of the system and of its subsystems.

– In relation to the digitization of maps emphasis will be given to the development of appropriate data structures and the exploitation of spatial elements chromatic structures.
