At the end of lectures students should be able:
- Toperceiveand handleconcepts ofmaritime policy, the European institutionalframework, and the functions of internationalinstitutions of shipping.
- To be able to delve into modern policies or initiatives affecting key decisions and everyday life of a shipping company and its relations with its partners
The course aims to: the analysis of contemporary national and international maritime policies, emphasizing on relations between international organizations, companies and human capital within the maritime community. At the end of the course students are able to understand the economic relations, to explain the functions and procedures and their impact on shipping and on maritime affairs and the role of stakeholders in decision-making.
