The students should be able:
– To understand the course objectives
– To understand the basic conceptual and methodological elements of mathematical analysis and to attain the ability to apply them for the solution of basic problems in the areas of economics and management sciences.
– To understand the relationship between mathematics and digital technologies (with emphasis on GIS) through the solution of simple digitization problems with the use of basic mathematical tools and theories.
– To attain the ability to analyze basic quantitative relations in the areas of economics and business with the use of mathematical concepts and methods and to express them both in graphic and algebraic form.
