Mathematics and Operations Research


Dr. George Proios is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Shipping, Trade and Transport of the University of the Aegean.He received his B.A. degrees in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 1987, he received his Ph.D. in”Study on Harmonic Analysis with Wavelets” from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Department of Mathematics, March 1999. Since 1993, he has taught in Department of Mathematics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Department of Business Administration University of the Aegean Teaching Course, Department of Economics and Management, University of the Aegean. Currently G. Proios teaches courses and workshops in Mathematics and Statistics at the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Department of Shipping, Trade and Transport of the University of the Aegean.He has published a number of articles in the areas of Mathematics and new technologies.
