Short Description

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the parameters of economic geography (human and natural factors), influencing the economic growth of states.

Thereupon, the lectures focus on maritime policy and its linking to maritime activity (commercial shipping factors).

The full understanding of the above mentioned is followed by the ability of the students to grasp the connection to geopolitics and geo-economy to the extent they are linked to economic geography. Thereafter, they are expected to understand thoroughly the function and operation of international trade, as well as the procedures and carriers involved at an international level.
