The objective of this course is to determine the legal outline of the protection given to seamen under the Greek and European Law.
At the end of lectures students should be able:
- to understand the different features and characteristics of the sea labor
- to explain and apply the special legal remedies available by shipping accidents and injury cases
- to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of International Conventions and national legislation concerning the appropriate protection and care of seamen
